Momy, can I go to school with you?
In my opinion there are 2 types of teen moms.
1. Young girls who get pregnant. Not by their own will. Things happen. But even than, they decide to keep it (morals). To be honest, I admire those girls. They do not give up.
2. And the second, about whom I hear too much. Girls who don't see any future for themselves, or don't want to see. They have a temporary partner, and "accidentally" get pregnant. They think, that this pregnant might make their life sooo easy. They don't have to go to school, don't have to work, it seems to them that the "only" thing they must do is to give a birth and raise a baby.
I don't want to offend anyone, but it's stupidity. Deciding to have a child at the age of 17/18, with the above named reasons, is just stupid. At this age, you should live; Learn, party, love, hate, travel etc. At this age, you don't even have to know who you want to be in the future. At this age many people still don't know who they really are. The point is not that if you get pregnant, you should get depressed... Never! The point is, not to try, or to try not to get pregnant AT THIS AGE.
My appeal :
Dear still little girls!
Please, live. There is so much to do, so much to see, and this young age gives you more energy to experience all this. Don't think a baby makes something easier. The sad truth is that this one and only, won't stay your one and only forever. He will recognize that this life, isn't how he imagined it to be and you will stay alone. And when your kid will be old enough, you will already be too tired to do the things you wanted to do when you were young and fresh.
Girl, remember : The most important person in your life is you! Love yourself, love your life and live your life. Having a baby can wait. And without, you can do it, even better than you know.
And to all of you, super hero moms(1.) you are great! Keep doing, never give up!
